Report: Civilian killed in 28+ Saudi-led airstrikes over 24 hours

SANAA, Aug. 7 (YPA) – A civilian was killed and four were injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched over 28 airstrikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen’s provinces during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Tuesday.

  • In Saada province:

Three airstrikes hit Hajlah area of Razih district.

An airstrike destroyed a home and a shop in Aal-Ali area of Razih.

An airstrike hit a home in Nashaw area of Haidan district.

Two airstrikes were waged on Atfain area of Krtaf district and Ajasher desert.

Missile and artillery shells were fired toward residential areas of Baqem and Razih districts.

  • In Hajjah province:

A civilian was killed and four were injured in an airstrike on a civilian’s home in Bani-Haidan area of Mahabisha district.

  • In Hodeidah province:

Eight airstrikes hit countryside of Tuhaita and Zabid.

Two airstrikes were waged on Technical Institute in north of Zabid district.

Four airstrikes on a civilian’s farm in Dhuha district.

A number of airstrikes hit on the city coincide with a mass rally.

  • In Taiz province:

Saudi-backed militiamen targeted a home of Shaikh, Mohammed Abdualjalil, in Maqbanah district by artillery shells.

  • In Sanaa province:

Three airstrikes hit Farea and Madfon areas of Nehm district.

  • In Jawf province:

Three airstrikes hit Wagz area of Maslup district.
