18 people killed as helicopter crashes in Russia

SANAA, Aug. 4 (YPA)- A Mi-8 helicopter crashed in Krasnoyarsk province of   Siberia region, killing 18 people, an official in the emergency services said.

“Eighteen people were aboard the plane, including the three crew members,” the spokesman told the news reporters, adding that all of them are dead. ”

The source noted that the cause of the Mi-8 helicopter crash in Krasnoyarsk province could be a technical malfunction or a mistake by the pilot.

The plane crashed and flew 2 kilometers before the fall and then crashed and burned, the source added.

“The plane landed in a place free of people and the place where it landed was found,” the source said.
