Report: Yemen army shells sites, gatherings of Saudi enemy over 24 hours
SANAA, July 25 (YPA) – The Yemen army carried out military operations, including missile, military and sniping attacks, targeted gatherings and sites of Saudi enemy and its militiamen during 24 hours, inflicting them heavy losses in lives and equipment, according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.
- In Yemen’s western coast:
The army repelled a large infiltration of Saudi-backed militiamen, which was supported by air cover, killing and wounding dozens.
Four militiamen were shot dead in coastal road of the west of Duraihimi district.
- In border province of Jizan:
The army controlled Mashel mount and destroyed 3 military vehicles, killing, wounding and captured dozens of the Saudi soldiers and their militiamen.
Gatherings of Saudi soldiers were shelled by artillery in Dood mount.
Three militiamen were sniped in front of Dood mount.
- In Najran border province:
Artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of militiamen in Boqea desert, Sawh area and in front of Khadhra border crossing, causing direct casualties.
- In Bayda province:
The army attacked sites of militiamen in Hamra hill of Natea front, which was preceded by heavy artillery fire on the sites, killing and wounding dozens.
Engineering unit of the army destroyed a military vehicle of militiamen in Juraibat of Natea front, killing and wounding all its crew.
- In Taiz province:
The army carried out an offensive on sites of militiamen in Aqamah valley junction of Wazaiah, destroying an armored and four military vehicles, killing and wounding dozens.
- In Marib province:
The army launched an attack on sites of militiamen in Dhahur area of Jadan, killing five of militiamen and seizing weapons.
Five militiamen were shot dead in several areas of Serwah district.
- In Jawf province:
The army carried out an offensive on sites of militiamen in Shawaq village of Ghail district.
Engineering unit of the army destroyed a military vehicle, loaded with militiamen, in Waqz front of Mazlub district, killing and wounding dozens.
- In Hajjah province:
Engineering unit of the army carried out an ambush targeted gatherings of militiamen by an explosive device in Medi desert.
