Planning Minister Meets MSF official

SANAA, July 18 (YPA) – The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Abdel Aziz Al-Kumaim, on Wednesday met with, Ahmed Fadl, Director of Operations in the Middle East region of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).

During the meeting, Al-Kumaim praised the active role played by the MSF organization by providing medical and ambulatory services in areas affected by the repercussions of the US-backed Saudi-led coalition war on our country.

 

Al-Kumaim pointed to the importance of training Yemeni medical personnel in coordination with the public health departments and the population in the affected areas of the war’s repercussions in order to equip the Yemeni cadres with medical and ambulance expertise.

For his part, Fadl briefed al-Kumaim on the nature of the medical interventions carried out by the organization in the areas affected by the consequences of the war, stressing on the organization’s keenness to provide all the medical and emergency services necessary to alleviate these repercussions.
