Over 230 Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

SANAA, July 18 (YPA) – More than 230 Israeli settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the Israeli-occupied Old City of East Jerusalem al-Quds amid heavy guard from the Israeli occupation police.

The director of the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar al-Kaswani, said that three extremist groups had stormed  Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the total number reached to over 230 Israeli settlers, while most of the third groups of intruders were children.

He told news agencies that the occupation authorities “want to impose a new reality through these provocative incursions, which violate the sanctity of the first Qiblah.”

Al-Kaswani stressed the importance of traveling to Al-Aqsa mosque, and staying inside it, especially in the morning hours, in order to confront these extremists and to thwart the measures that the occupation seeks to impose.

“The large gathering inside Al-Aqsa is the only solution to foil the Israeli plans that target Al-Aqsa, which the occupation forces seek to implement inside Al-Aqsa,” he added.
