Presidential camps in Yemen’s Aden turned to secret prisons 

ADEN, Feb. 6 (YPA) – Several presidential military camps in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden have been turned to secret prisons to torture opponents, according to officials and human rights activists.

“Dozens of soldiers affiliated with the so-called presidential protection brigades had been imprisoned by UAE-backed separatist forces in several secret prisons inside the camps,” the officials said in social media.
Activists reported that the arrested soldiers have been brutally tortured in the secret jails.
On Jan. 30, separatist forces of the Southern Transitional Council, backed by the United Arab Emirates occupation forces, took over Aden, Two days after deadly clashes that eventually ended with the defeat of  Saudi-based resigned President Hadi’s militias.
