Forces loyal to Hadi prevent planes’ landing at Aden airport

ADEN, July 3 (YPA) – Military forces loyal to the resigned president Hadi on Tuesday prevented landing of several planes coming to Aden International Airport, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

Military forces of the brigades loyal to Hadi tried to impose its control and grab the airport from the security belt forces of the Southern Transitional Council backed by the UAE occupation forces, according to the sources.

The move caused a wide chaos at the airport, while passengers got a fright, as well as two flights were blocked and some flights were diverted to Sayoun International Airport.

The security forces belt announced the high alert in the city of Aden, the sources added.
