Report: Yemen army inflicts Saudi troops heavy losses over 24 hours
SANAA, July 2 (YPA) – The Yemen army inflicted Saudi army and its militiamen heavy losses in lives and equipment by military operations, including air drones strikes, missile, artillery and sniping attacks, during the past 24 hours, according to military reports combined by Yemen press Agency on Monday.
- In Yemen’s western coast:
Army’s air force targeted gatherings and camps of Saudi-backed militiamen after careful monitoring and hit the target accurately.
The army launched an attack on militiamen’s site, which localize on it, in jabiliah at the south of Tuhaita, killing and wounding dozens.
3 military vehicles were destroyed in coastal line off Faza front.
The army targeted a gathering of militiamen by a guided rockets in Faza, killing and wounding many of them.
Heavy losses in lives and equipment of militiamen when the army carried out an offensive on militiamen’s sites in the north of Duraihimi.
- In Saudi border province of Najran:
The army controlled several sites in Sawh during an offensive, inflicting the enemy heave losses.
Missile and artillery shells were fired toward gatherings of militiamen in Ajasher desert, causing direct casualties.
- In Asir border province:
A large-scale infiltration of Saudi-backed militiamen was repelled in front of Alb border crossing.
Dozens of militiamen were killed and wounded and a military vehicle was destroyed during repelling their infiltration which was backed with air cover.
The army targeted gatherings and fortifications of Saudi soldiers and their militiamen in front of Alb and in the west of Majaza by katyusha rockets and artillery shells.
B.M.B armored was smashed and a military vehicle was destroyed in Alb crossing by artillery shelling.
Missile and artillery shells were fired toward gatherings of militiamen in Alb crossing, causing direct casualties.
- In border province of Jizan:
An infiltration of Saudi army and its militiamen toward the army’s sites was repelled in the west of Nar mount and nearby sites.
The army fired artillery shells at gatherings of Saudi army during repelling their infiltration which was supported by reconnaissance and warplanes which waged over 10 strikes without achieving any progress.
The army destroyed a military vehicle and burned a number of tents during repelling the infiltration, killing and wounding dozens of the enemy.
Artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their militiamen in Qarna center, Om Qateb eastern village, Raqabat-Jahfan,Hamait Qaza, Mostahdath, and in the south of Ma’aeen valley.
Katyusha rockets were fired at gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their military vehicles in Mostahdath-Sayabah.
Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their militiamen in MBC mount and Hathera.
10 militiamen were shot dead in the east of MBC mount.
- In Lahj province:
The army carried out an offensive in Karsh district, which led to secure a number of sites, inflicting the militiamen heavy casualties.
The army launched an attack on militiamen’s sites in Malajem front of Qubaita district, killing and wounding dozens.
- In Yemen’s Jawf province:
The army controlled a strategic mount of laqem in Mahamisha by an offensive on militiamen’s sites in the mount, inflicting them heavy losses in lives and equipment.
Katyusha rockets were fired toward gatherings of militiamen in Hanjar camp of Khub-washaaf district.
- In Medi district of Hajjah province:
The army fired katyusha rockets toward gatherings of militiamen in the north of Medi desert.
Engineering unit of the army destroyed a military vehicle by an explosive device in Medi desert.
- In Nehm district:
The army repelled an infiltration of Saudi-backed militiamen, which was backed by air cover, toward Rabah hill in Madfoon front, inflicting the enemy heavy losses in lives and equipment.
