Yemeni army attacks Saudi-backed militants’ sites in Taiz

TAIZ, Feb. 2 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Friday launched a military offensive against Saudi-backed militants’ locations in Amqan Mountain in Hifan district, southern of Taiz province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack inflicted heavy losses in lives and gear on the militants.

Meanwhile, dozens of Saudi-backed gunmen were killed and others wounded by the Yemeni army fire, during repelling their infiltration toward Beer-Basha and Osaifera areas of the province.
