Yemen army drives coalition forces out of Hodeidah international Airport’s fences

HODEIDAH, June 20 (YPA) – An official source in the Yemeni army denied the existence of any pro-Emirates troops at Hodeidah airport.

The official confirmed to Yemen Press Agency (YPA) that Southern forces backed by the UAE occupation forces tried on Tuesday to storm the airport from two directions, but they were defeated by the Yemeni army forces.

The source indicated that the army destroyed several armored and military vehicles, and the dead bodies of the militias are scattered in the area.

A pro-coalition leader Rami Hizam and dozens of Militias were killed by the army during the confrontations east of Hodeidah Airport, the official added.
