Local residents intercept US occupation convoy in north Syria

SANAA, Oct. 20 (YPA) – Local residents  of Hamo village intercepted on Tuesday US occupation convoy in the eastern countryside of Qamishli, North Syria, SANA reported, citing local sources.

 

According to the sources, a convoy consisting of three armored vehicles and a Hummer tried to pass to Qamishli city along the international road near the village, but the residents intercepted the convoy and forced it to leave.

 

Over the past months, residents of Hamo village in Qamishli countryside have confronted US occupation convoys several times that tried to enter the village or pass alongside it and forced it with the support of army personnel to leave and return where it came from.
