STC takes control over Lawdar district in Abyan

ABYAN, Sept. 23 (YPA) –  The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) said on Thursday that its forces had begun securing the most important strongholds of “Hadi” after suddenly taking control over.

According to pro-STC media, the commander of the security belt in Lawdar district, Ahmed Awad Majhash, began with the elders of the Lawder tribes to form security squares to secure the directorate, which until Wednesday evening was in the hands of Hadi’s forces.

The medal sources published pictures of Majhash walking through the streets of the directorate and checking the security points of the  STC.
