Telecommunications Minister inaugurates, lays foundation stone for 38 projects worth 6 bln riyals in Bayda

BAYDA, Sept. 22 (YPA) – The Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Eng. Misfer Al-Numair, along with the Acting Governor of Bayda, Hammoud Shathan, on Wednesday inaugurated 12 projects in the telecommunications sector in the province, at a cost of 782 million riyals.

The projects, which are inaugurated on the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the September 21 revolution, included the expansion of messaging capacities, telephone networks, and Yemen Mobile stations in several areas in the province with self-financing.

Al-Numair and Shathan also laid the foundation stone for 26 projects to expand the transmission capacities, exchanges, the copper network, and establish Yemen Mobile stations at a cost of more than five billion riyals.
