Coalition officer killed, soldiers wounded in bomb blast in Marib

MARIB, June 6 (YPA) – A security officer of the Saudi-led coalition forces was killed and other soldiers were wounded in an improvised device explosion in the city of Marib, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The bomb was planted by unknown gunmen near the gate of the so-called “special forces school”.

Three other explosive devices were dismantled in different parts of the city, said the official.

The city, which is under control of the coalition forces, is awash of Sunni Islah party militias, al-Qaida and Daesh operatives.
