Army repels 6 militias’ advances in Jawf

JAWF, June 5 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Tuesday repelled six advances of Saudi-backed militias in Yemen’s Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The advances was repelled in Mahamisha, Sabrain and Khalifain areas of Khub-Washaf.
The official added that dozens of the militias were killed and wounded during repelling their advances.

Furthermore, ten of the militias’ military vehicles by the army.

The official said that the advances continued from dawn until noon of Tuesday but the militias did not achieve any progress despite the heavy air cover.
