Israel bombs home, office of Hamas chief in Gaza

GAZA, May 16 (YPA) – Israeli warplanes bombed, at dawn on Sunday, the home and office of the chief of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, and his brother, the leader of the movement, Muhammad Sinwar.

The Israeli fighter jets also bombed several main intersections in the governorate.

Sinwar’s house is located in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, while his office is located in Gaza City.

The bombing came despite Israel’s certainty that Sinwar could not be present in his home or office under the current circumstances.

The warplanes launched intense raids on Gaza City simultaneously and on a series of separate targets in the Khan Yunis governorate, south of the Gaza Strip.

In Gaza City, Israeli warplanes fired more than 20 missiles simultaneously at a series of targets.

Earlier, the occupation warplanes bombed the house of Khalil al-Hayya, deputy head of Hamas, in Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza.
