Coronavirus cases rise in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, April 01 (YPA) – The Saudi Ministry of Health Thursday announced the registration of 590 new cases of Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also stated, in a statement on its page on Twitter, that seven deaths were recorded, and 386 cases recovered from the virus.

This brings the total number of cases of the epidemic in the Kingdom to 390,597 cases, and deaths to 6676 cases, while the number of recovered cases reached 378,469 cases.

On Wednesday, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced the registration of 585 new cases of the virus and six new deaths.

For his part, the designating Saudi Minister of Information, Majid Al-Qasabi, said that all citizens and residents in the Kingdom would be vaccinated with the Corona vaccine by the end of this year.

The number of doses of the anti-epidemic vaccine given in the Kingdom exceeded four million doses, within a short period since the arrival of the first batches of the vaccine.
