Army shoots down coalition aircraft in Marib

MARIB, March 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni army shot down on Tuesday a spy aircraft of the Saudi-led coalition forces in Marib province.

The army spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sarei, affirmed in an news statement the army’s air defenses managed to shoot down the US-made MQ-9 aircraft while it was carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of the province.

He explained that the aircraft was targeted with a suitable missile, which has not been disclosed yet.
