Mass demonstration in Saada condemns US aggression, blockade on Yemen

SAADA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – Thousands of civilians in Saada province stage a mass rally on Friday condemning the aggression and blockade imposed by the US aggression on Yemen.

The protest was titled “The siege of the American Aggression Alliance kills the Yemeni people”, and it was attended by the local authority officials in the province.

The protesters chanted slogans condemning the aggression and the continued siege by the American aggression  forces against the Yemeni people.

They stressed the continued steadfastness in the face of aggression until victory is achieved.

During the protest, Saada Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad praised the honorable people of the province who came in this protest to declare their rejection of the barbaric and criminal American blockade on the Yemeni people.

He noted that the embargo had exposed what America and the UN claims about humanity.

Awad stressed that only by continuing to counter aggression and liberate Marib and every inch of the land would the blockade be lifted and the aggression stopped.

A statement issued by protesters, condemning  the continuation of the US aggression and blockade of Yemen and the detention of oil vessels with the aim of terrorizing the Yemeni people and returning them to the guardianship box.

The statement held the United States of America the aggression countries  responsible for the disastrous repercussions of the blockade and the increased suffering of the Yemeni people.

It stressed that peace in Yemen will not be through statements but by the actual cessation of aggression and the lifting of the blockade.

The statement called on the Yemeni people to strengthen cohesion and alignment in the face of aggression until every inch of Yemen’s territory is liberated.
