STC accuses Islah of carrying out assassinations in Shabwah

SHABWAH, Jan. 22 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias on Thursday accused Islah authority in Shabwah province of carrying out assassinations against  members of the so-called “Shabwani elite”.

In a statement, the STC spokesman,  Ali Al-Kathiry , said that Muslim Brotherhood authority in the province carrying out repressive practices, abuse and terrorist crimes against residents and members of the “Shabwani elite” .

He warned of Islah’s insistence on disrupting the Riyadh agreement and hindering the return of the “Shabwani elite” forces and their deployment in the province.

Al-Kathiry called on the Saudi-led coalition to oblige the so-called ” Islah militia” to fulfill its commitments to continue implementing the terms of the agreement.

The STC vowed to respond to the targeting of the  Shabwani elite forces.
