US House Speaker: Trump is existing danger that must be removed

WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 (YPA) – Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi has described the outgoing President Donald Trump as “an existing danger” that must be removed.

According to the “Sputnik” news agency, Pelosi wrote in a tweet, saying “Donald Trump committed an unprecedented violation in the history of Congress.”

She added, “We must move to remove this clear danger that still exists because it threatens our lives and our country.”

Democrats are seeking to remove Trump from the presidency in his last days before he officially left office, against the backdrop of his supporters’ storming the Capitol building last Wednesday after statements in which he refused to acknowledge his defeat in the elections.
