Yemen Airways’ flights from Sayoun to Socotra Island stopped

HADRAMOUT, May 24 (YPA) – Yemen Airways’ flights from Sayoun International Airport to Socotra Island had stopped due to bad weather conditions, sources at Sayoun airport said.

The source added that passengers were waiting inside Sayoun airport for directions from the airport administration to conduct the flight to Socotra.
The Sayoun airport administration told hundreds of passengers that it was impossible to risk flying in bad weather as the climate situation in Hadramout and Socotra.

Hadramout meteorologists have warned of the deepening of the tropical depression to a tropical storm in the Arabian Sea, which may hit the southern coasts including Socotra, which witnessed on Tuesday changes and thunderstorms hit the beaches and still until the moment.
