New explosions hit Saudi committee’s headquarters in Abyan

ABYAN, Jan. 04 (YPA) – Strong explosions rocked on Monday the headquarters of the Saudi military committee in charge of monitoring the ceasefire in Abyan province, southern Yemen, for the second time in less than 24 hours.

Local sources said that the committee’s headquarters was bombed with a number of mortar shells in the coastal city of Shoqra.

This came after the committee’s return at dawn Monday, after its withdrawal Sunday evening to Aden after an explosive device exploded in the wall of the school that Saudi forces are using as their headquarters.
