4 Qasd militants killed in attacks in northern Syria

SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – Four militants of the Qasd militia supported by the American occupation forces were killed and others were wounded in separate attacks targeting their movements and locations by unknown persons in the countryside of Raqqa and Deir Ezzor in northern Syria.
Local sources told SANA Agency that two armed men from the “Qasd militia” were killed, on Friday, in an attack by unidentified persons targeting a military vehicle near Al-Karin junction, west of Tabqa city in the western countryside of Raqqa.

The sources added that an explosive device that was planted by unidentified persons exploded in a military vehicle belonging to the “Qasd militia” on Al-Nakhr Road, east of Al-Raqqa, which led to injuries among them.

Others militias were wounded by unidentified persons targeting a military vehicle of the Qasd militia on the road between the towns of Al-Jarniya and Tal Othman, west of Al-Raqqa.

In Deir Ezzor, local sources said that a leader of the “Qasd militia” was shot dead by unknown persons in the town of Dhiban, east of the city, and another militia was shot dead by unknown persons in the town of Hawayj in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The areas where the Qasd militants are deployed on the Syrian island in recent months have witnessed an escalation in attacks by unknown persons against this militia, which resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens of its militants.
