Former President of South Yemen calls on Oman to intervene to stop war on Yemen

ADEN, Nov. 19 (YPA) –  Former President of South Yemen Ali Nasser Mohammed on Wednesday called on Oman to intervene to stop the war in Yemen.

According to media sources, President Nasser sent a congratulatory message to The Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq al-Saeed, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the National Renaissance Day in Oman.

He hoped that Oman could play a role to stop the war and resolve the current crises in Yemen in order to preserve unity, the integrity and sovereignty of the entire Yemeni territory.

Former President Ali Nasser Mohammed expressed his great confidence in the success of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, bringing the views of the Yemeni people closer together, putting an end to the bloodshed, and turning the page of differences through the Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue, without outside interference or guardianship from anyone.
