Cold wave hits Yemeni provinces: NCM

SANAA, Nov. 4 (YPA) – A cold wave would hit most of the Yemeni provinces during the coming 24 hours, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on Wednesday.

The center expected in its weather forecast that mountainous provinces and parts of deserts and inland highlands would be affected by the wave and low temperatures.

It expected that the dry and cold weather sweeps parts of the mountainous heights of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, and Dhalea province, and the high areas of Taiz, Ibb, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Marib and Jawf.

The center warned citizens ad farmers in the above-mentioned provinces against the decrease in the temperatures, especially the elderly, children, and students of school and university, during the night and early morning.
