Coalition recruits flee from ‘Mas’ camp in Marib

MARIB, Nov. 3 (YPA) – ‘Mas’ camp in Marib province witnessed on Monday a mass escape of Saudi-led coalition recruits, after the army forces and the popular committees surrounded the camp from several directions, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that the so-called “Special Forces” withdrew from the camp, located in Al-Jadaan area northwest of Marib city, with all their military equipment, hours after Saudi officers fled.

Recruits of the “81st Brigade” began to flee the camp individually, fearing that the coalition warplanes would bomb them based on previous threats from military leaders in the coalition forces, the sources added.
