PM praises Telecommunications Ministry’s activities

SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor on Wednesday met with Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Corporation for Telecommunications – Dr. Hashim Al-Shami.

At the meeting, Dr. bin Habtoor praised the activities of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology and institutions and their endeavors to develop their various services to keep pace with the rapid developments in this sector.

During the meeting, Al-Shami briefed the Prime Minister on the activities of the ministry and the institution during the past period of this year and the most important programs included in its annual plan for the remaining period until the end of the year.

Al-Shami touched on the activities of the National Remote Sensing Center and ways to develop it in order to benefit from its vital work in all state agencies and institutions.
