Report: Yemen army kills dozens of coalition troop over 24 hours

SANAA, May 19 (YPA) – Yemen army has carried out military offensive operations, including missile, artillery and sniping attacks, whick targeted coalition soldiers and their militias’ sites and gatherings, killing dozens of them over the past 24 hours, according to Ansar Allah Media Center statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.

 

  • Coalition media admitted killing three of its soldiers and injuring another by the army’s fires in beyond border fronts.
  • UAE announced the death of one of its soldiers, hours after Bader-1 ballistic missile hit Anad military base in Lahj province.
  • Sniper unit of the army shot dead 13 militias in Taiz, Jawf and Serwah fronts.

 

  • In southern province of Jizan:

A ballistic missile, Bader-1, was fired toward Jizan Economic City.

Artillery shelling targeted militias’ gatherings in Tewal.

  • In Najran border Saudi province:

The army repelled a militias’ advance toward Qathamil in Boqea desert, killing and wounding dozens of the militias.

A Saudi-backed militia was killed by the fires of the army in Boqea front.

  • In Taiz province:

A militias’ armored was burned by artillery shells in West coast, killing all its crew.

  • In Yemen’s province of Jawf:

Three military vehicles of militias were destroyed in an airtight ambush in Khub-washaaf district, killing all who were on vehicles boards.

  • In Bayda province:

The army carried out an offensive operation on militias’ sites in Qaifa, killing and wounding dozens.

  • In Dhalea province:

A Saudi-backed militia was killed by the army’s fires in Muris front.
