NCM warns against continued cold wave over coming 24 hours

SANAA, Oct. 14 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has warned citizens against continued cold wave in most of the Yemeni provinces over coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast on Wednesday that the wave would be accompanied by expecting scattered rain in a number of areas.

According to the NCM, the weather would be relatively clear to partly cloudy and cold during the night and the day, with forming cells of cumulus rain clouds on parts of the western and southwestern highlands and the interior of the western coasts.

In desert areas, the weather may be clear, dry and relatively cold during the night and early morning, and the winds to be moderate northeast, active during the day.

“Partly cloudy weather, and possible light rain with southwesterly moderate winds in Socotra province,” the center added.
