Zionist enemy approves building hundreds of settlement units west of Bethlehem

SANAA, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Zionist enemy authorities approved the construction of hundreds of settlement units in the “Tzur Hadassah” settlement, which is built on citizens’ lands in the village of Wadi Fukin, west of Bethlehem.

The director of the Office of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission in Bethlehem, Hassan Barijia, stated that, based on Zionist sources, the enemy approved the construction of 500 settlement units in the aforementioned settlement, at the expense of the lands of the citizens in the village of Wadi Fukin.

He pointed out that there is an occupation plan targeting the Bethlehem Governorate by increasing the pace of settlement, the most recent of which was a change in the borders of the lands in Arab al-Ta`amrah east of Bethlehem, and preventing citizens from entering and staying in their lands adjacent to some settlements in the south and east of Bethlehem.
