Coalition forces suffer heavy losses south of Marib

MARIB, Oct. 5 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces on Monday sustained heavy losses in lives and gear, as a result of the battles that took place on the southwestern fronts in Marib province.

The coalition forces suffered heavy losses as a result of a failed military tactic they carried out during their attempts to retake the areas that had fallen during the past hours in the grip of the army and the popular committees in the strategic ‘Alfa’ area and Al-Ahdhan Mountain between Al-Jouba and Rahba districts, sources in Marib reported.

The sources explained that Sanaa forces managed to implement a successful tactic that caused the coalition forces to fall into pliers, killing and wounding dozens of the coalition troops, including the military leader Ali Nasser Zabnallah Munif.

‘Wasit’ Hospital and Al-Jabal Hospital were filled with the bodies of deaths and injuries of the coalition forces, the sources added.
