DUBAI, Sep. 26 (YPA) – The Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA) announced on Saturday the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, in the latest agreements signed between the two sides after the normalization of relations between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv.

The memorandum was signed Friday during a virtual ceremony held remotely, in the presence of the Director General of DAFZA Mohammed ‘Al-Zarouni’ and head of the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce Yorel Lin.

The Dubai Government Media Office said in a statement that the signed agreement “sets out frameworks for cooperation between the two sides in the field of encouraging and supporting companies in establishing their businesses.”

“The agreement aims to benefit Israeli companies from the commercial and investment opportunities provided by the UAE and Dubai,” the office added.
