New details revealed in latest attempt to assassinate Trump with poison

SANAA, Sept 23 (YPA) – Investigative materials for a woman was arrested at the US-Canadian border on charges of sending a poisoned envelope to US President Donald Trump have revealed their demands and motives.

According to the Associated Press, the envelope containing the toxic ricin also contained a letter, in which the woman called on President Trump to withdraw his candidacy from the November 3 presidential election in the United States.

In her letter, the woman threatened to “find another more effective recipe for poison or the use of weapons” against Trump if her first attempt to poison him did not succeed.

The investigation indicated that the woman was a 53-year-old Canadian national, identified as Pascale Ferrier

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said it had intercepted six other suspicious letters addressed to the state of Texas, without disclosing whether they contained toxic substances.

FBI confirmed the discovery of the Canadian citizen’s fingerprints on them.

Ferrier is expected to appear in the US Court in Buffalo, New York, on Wednesday.
