11 Saudi-led airstrikes hit capital, Sanaa province

SANAA, Sept. 14 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes on Monday launched 11 strikes on several areas in capital, and Sanaa province, targeting civilian facilities and military sites that were previously bombed with hundreds of raids, security sources said.

The sources said, the coalition warplanes launched a raid on the airport in the capital, Sanaa, which is its fourth on Sunday, causing material damage to the airport facilities, despite the fact that it has imposed a military air embargo on it for years.

The sources added, “The coalition aircraft also launched two raids on Al-Sama area in Arhab district of Sanaa province, north of the capital, in addition to six raids that targeted the same area at dawn on Saturday, causing material damage.”

The sources continued: “The coalition air strikes, at dawn on Monday, included targeting the facility of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund project, in Attan neighborhood, south of the capital and It is a civilian facility, which international law criminalizes targeting.

The southern side of the capital, Sanaa, was targeted by the coalition aircraft at dawn on Monday by launching five raids on the Rayma Hamid area, in Sanhan District, Sanaa pro, province under the pretext of “targeting missile stores”.

The raids came as an extension of a series of raids launched by the coalition warplanes led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the context of its escalation, on the capital, Sanaa, and its environs in the Sanaa province, after midnight on Saturday and at dawn on Sunday.
