Israeli warplanes bomb Gaza Strip

SANAA, Aug. 10 (YPA) – Late Sunday, the Israeli occupation air force bombed a position belonging to Hamas resistance movement in the Gaza Strip.

The spokesman for the Israeli occupation forces said that his warplane targeted a monitoring site for Hamas in northern Gaza, claiming to respond to the firing of incendiary balloons across the Gaza Strip border earlier in the day.

The Palestinian channel Al-Aqsa TV confirmed that Israeli warplanes had bombed a Hamas monitoring post north of the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Palestinian agency “Ma’an” said that the target site is located in the town of Beit Lahia, noting that the attack caused material damage to the site without any reports of human casualties.

Resistance factions continued to fire incendiary balloons at Gaza’s cover settlements, resulting in several fires, according to Hebrew media.
