Ministry of Endowments condemns Saudi regime’s ban on Hajj

SANAA, July 29 (YPA) –  Yemeni Ministry of Endowments and Guidance condemned the Saudi regime’s banning of international pilgrims from entering the kingdom this year and repelling them from the Grand Mosque.

The ministry said in a statement, on Wednesday, that preventing the pilgrimage this year is a systematic plan in the context of the open role played by the Saudi regime in serving the US-Zionist project.

“It would have been better for the Saudi regime, instead of prohibiting the pilgrimage, to do the right handling that would provide a suitable environment for the pilgrims, ” the statement read

The Ministry confirmed that the prevention of Hajj pilgrimage after many countries of the world lifted the restrictions of quarantine, including Saudi Arabia, stems from the premeditation and the beneficiary is the enemies of Islam.

It pointed out that what the Yemenis suffered during the 5 years of aggression, including preventing them from performing Hajj, has become widespread for all Muslims, in clear politicization of the Hajj.

It stressed that the free people of the world should raise the voice loudly in front of the Saudis, and not to keep silent about this is a crime, pointing out that the Sacred Mosque is the house of God and the pilgrimage is the fifth pillar of Islam, pointing out that with these actions, the Saudi regime becomes incompetent and illegitimate and not trustworthy of the Two Holy Mosques

The Ministry called on Islamic countries to condemn this step and work to lift the hand of the Saudi regime from Islamic sanctities.
