Tribal gunmen kidnap Afash Tariq forces’ commander in Taiz

TAIZ, July 26 (YPA) – Tribal gunmen on Sunday kidnapped one of commanders in Tariq forces backed by the UAE in Taiz province, according to tribal sources.

The sources confirmed that gunmen from Bani Ali Al-Hajj tribe arrested the commander of the supply and armament section of “Tariq Afash” forces, Bashir Hazaa Al-Aqaili, in response to the kidnapping of one of tribe’s sheikhs eight months ago in Mocha city.

The sources noted that the forces of Tariq Afash kidnapped Tawfiq al-Sabai, came after being drawn from the State of Kuwait, to the city of Mokha.
