Islah makes deal to obtain tanks from Shabwa province’s revenues

SHABWA, July 13 (YPA) – The governor of Shabwa province appointed by exiled Hadi’s government concluded a military deal with 600,000 Saudi riyals from the province’s revenues to buy three tanks, which the tribes had looted from the 19th Infantry Brigade camp in the year 2015, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources declared that the deal was concluded between the governor Mohammed Adiw and leaders from Islah party’s militias in Bayhan front to buy the tanks from tribal characters in Ayen district.

The purchase price for each tank is 200 thousand Saudi riyals, while one of the tanks had suffered a coup accident in the area of ​​Najd Marqad, during the past two days.

Leaders of Islah militants supervised the transfer of the tanks to Ataq center.
