Emirati official accuses Turkey of establishing, training militias in Taiz

SANAA, July 10 (YPA) – An Emirati official accused Turkey of arming and training its armed Yemeni militias in the south of the Yemeni province of Taiz.

Dr. Abdel Khaleq Abdullah, former adviser to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed, said on Twitter on Thursday, Turkey is arming and training its 5,000-strong Yemeni armed militia in the south of the city of Taiz under the supervision of “Saleh al-Jabwani,” the former transportation minister in the “Hadi government”.

Abdel Khaleq added in another tweet, “Correction: Saleh al-Jabwani is a former socialist who hates the alliance and is funded by Qatar and runs sabotage and absurd activities in southern Arabia.

On the other hand, local media revealed, on Thursday, that the Islah militia, with the support of the Islah leader Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi, who is in Turkey, is establishing two military brigades in Al-Hajriyah regions, south of Taiz .
