Yemeni riyal continues to recover in capital Sanaa

SANAA, July 7 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate on Tuesday continued for the third day in a row to recover significantly in the capital Sanaa to reach 598 Yemeni riyals per dollar.

This came after the exchange committee at the Central Bank of Yemen pumped foreign currencies to exchange shops.

On another hand, the exchange rate of the Yemeni riyal in the southern provinces suffers from a decrease due to the return of tension between the armed factions loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Abyan province and the arrival of a new batch of the funds printed without cover to Mukalla port in Hadramout province.

The riyal exchange rate in Aden province reached 753 riyals per dollar, and 757 riyals in Hadramout.

Meanwhile, the average price of dollar on the black market reached 605 riyals in the capital Sanaa, while its price in the Central Bank of Yemen in the Sanaa continued at 250.5 riyals, and in other Yemeni banks in the capital it remains stable at 498 riyals.
