Yemen’s oil company holds protest rally to condemn coalition siege against oil tankers

SANAA, July 3 (YPA) – Yemeni oil company’s employees held on Friday a protest rally in front of the UN headquarters in Sanaa to condemn the arbitrary action continued by the Saudi-led aggression coalition states in preventing oil tankers from access to Hodeidah port.

During the rally, Ammar al-Adhrai, a head of the Yemeni Oil Company, denied news reports publishing for arrival of oil ships at the port of Hodeidah.

Al-Adhari held the United Nations and the coalition countries fully responsible for the continued piracy of oil ships.

At the rally, the protesters affirmed that the coalition seeks to impose collective punishment against the Yemeni people and pushes millions of Yemenis to the brink of famine.

The participants called the United Nations to exert more pressures on the coalition states to end the war and lift the siege on the Yemeni sea, land and air ports.

The participants affirmed that seizing the oil tankers being prevented by the aggression to access and enter Hodeidah port, is an economic war to target the Yemeni people.
