Hadi’s advisor says conflicts between Hadi’s son with Saudi ambassador flare up

SANAA, June 29 (YPA) – An adviser at Hadi’s embassy in Riyadh on Monday revealed an intense conflict between Hadi’s son and the Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed al-Jaber.

Th conflict has intensified following a campaign launched by activists and leaders of the al-Islah party, the Yemeni Branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, against Ambassador Al Jaber.

Anis Mansour said that the Saudi ambassador filed a report after the campaign “the malicious role of Ambassador Al Jaber”, which included accusations of Hadi’s son of receiving support and funding from Qatar and Turkey and standing behind the campaign.

The campaign came as Ambassador Al-Jaber pushed Sultan al-Burkani to take over Hadi’s duties by chairing a tripartite meeting.

Differences between Hadi and the ambassador have recently escalated as Saudi Arabia intensified its campaign through its government to dismantle the corruption system surrounding Hadi, led by his son and his deputy director for economic affairs.

The Saudi ambassador leaked documents condemning Hadi’s sons for plundering wealth and seizing the country’s resources.
