Journalists from Islah party appear on Israeli channels

SANAA, June 28 (YPA) – Journalists loyal to the Islah party, the Yemeni Branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, are in a race with Hani Ben Brik, vice president of the so-called the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, for appearing on the channels of the Zionist entity.

The move came as an effort to show their openness and engagement with the issues of normalization that they blame the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Yemeni activists circulated a photo of the journalist known to be a member of the Islah party, Mohammed al-Ahmadi, speaking to the Israeli news channel  i24.

The i24 is an Arabic-language Israeli news channel targeting the Arab community. The channel was  opened in 2013 and  based in Jaffa Port, Tel Aviv, and the second headquarters is in Luxembourg, which  also broadcast in Arabic.

Last week, The Israel News Agency revealed secret meetings of the Israeli government with the so-called the STC, which described it as Israel’s new friend in the Arabian Peninsula.
