2 soldiers killed in landmine blast in Algeria

SANAA, June 28 (YPA) – The Algerian Ministry of National Defense announced on Sunday that two soldiers were killed in a traditionally made landmine blast during searching operation in Medea state in the first military aspect.

The Ministry declared that the explosion killed a captain and a first corporal in the army.

“In the wake of this heinous act, the necessary security measures have been reinforced by the National People’s Army detachments and continued searches for this area”, the Ministry added.

The Acting Chief of Staff offered the most sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the two martyrs and their relatives.
