Saudi Arabia announces killing of one of its officers in border battles

SANAA, June 25 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia announced the killing of another officer in its ground forces, during what it called the “defense of religion and the homeland” battles in the southern border in Jazan region.

Al-Eidabi Governorate published, on its official account, on Twitter, the news of the killing of an officer in the Saudi forces, who belongs to the province, in border battles.

The governorate said that Governor Abdullah Al-Dhafiri conveyed the condolences of King Salman to the father and relatives of Lieutenant Ahmed bin Muhammad Jaber al-Ghazwani, who was killed in the southern border.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense is concerned with announcing the deaths of its ground forces, including officers and soldiers, but it is obliged to disclose some of them before the announcement of their relatives news of their death.

It is noteworthy that the military media data for the Yemeni army and the popular committees show that the losses of the Saudi forces have exceeded thousands of dead and wounded since the war began.
