Report: Yemen army wages military offensives on Saudi troops over 24 hours

SANAA, May 9 (YPA) – The Yemen army has waged military offensive operation, including missile, artillery and sniping, targeted Saudi soldiers and their militias’ gatherings and sites over the past 24 hours, according to Ansar Allah Media Center statement obtained by Yemen press Agency on Wednesday.

  • In Saudi border province of Najran:

The army carried out an offensive operation on Saudi-backed militias’ sites in Boqea desert, killing and wounding dozens.

Sites and gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their militias were targeted by artillery shells in Boqea desert.

A Saudi military vehicle was destroyed by an explosive device in Ajasher desert.

  • In southern Saudi border province of Jizan:

Artillery force of the army shelled Saudi army’s artillery fortification and gatherings in Himait-Qazia camp, western Abu-MAdh camp, numbers of censorships in Jahfan mount’s sites and a number of Saudi military points in Musafaq.

Missile and artillery shells were fired toward Saudi soldiers and militias’ gatherings in Bit-Abiadh of southern Mabkhara site.

  • In Asir border province:

The army repelled a militias’ infiltration operation, which was backed by 22 air strikes, in front of Alab crossing, without achieving any progress.

The army fired  Katyusha rockets and a number of artillery shells toward their gatherings during the infiltration operation.

Two Saudi soldiers were killed by the fires of the army in Alab front.

  • In Taiz province:

19 of Saudi-backed militias, including two leaders, were killed and 10 others were injured by the Fires of Yemen army in west coast front.

Two of militias’ leader were injured in an unique ambush carried out by the army in Barh of west coast front.

Artillery shelling targeted militias’ gatherings in west coast.

Three of militias were shot dead in the south of west coast.

More than 30 bodies and dozens of wounded have reached to hospitals of Aden province from the West Coast Front.
