Pro-coalition military brigade commander dies from Corona in Aden

ADEN, June 2 (YPA) – A senior military commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition forces on Tuesday died in Aden province as a result of contracting Corona virus (COVID-19).

Local sources in Aden city told Yemen Press Agency that Brigadier General al-Hamza al-Jadani died in a hospital in the city after he had contracted the virus.

Al-Jadani’s body was transferred to his hometown in Mudiyah district of Abyan province for burial, the sources added.

The city of Aden has been witnessing dozens of deaths on a daily basis since the beginning of May due to the outbreak of fever diseases, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
