Yemeni riyal recovers partly in southern provinces after big decline

SANAA, June 1 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal on Monday witnessed a light recovery days after its significant decline in the southern provinces, influenced by the tension between armed factions loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Abyan province.

The riyal exchange rate in Aden province reached 703 riyals per dollar, and 701 riyals per dollar in Hadramout province.

On another hand, the riyal exchange rate preserved its stability in the capital Sanaa at 601 riyals per dollar, while the average price of dollar on the black market reached 605 riyals.

The price of one dollar in the Central Bank of Yemen in the capital Sanaa continued at 250 riyals, and in other Yemeni banks in the capital it remains stable at 440 riyals.
