4,000 people have been arrested in US since protests started

SANAA, June 1 (YPA) – The American authorities have arrested more than 4,000 people, since the outbreak of the protests over the killing of a black-skinned citizen.
According to a statistic of the US “CNN” network, the number of detainees reached 4 thousand people since May 26 until Monday morning, due to the wave of protests that swept a number of American cities.

The protests, which in some areas have turned into looting and burning of government and commercial facilities, are still continuing despite the imposition of a curfew in some areas and the deployment of more policemen and the National Guard.
